That off-the-shoulder trend
Cleavage is so passé – the shoulder is the erogenous zone to flaunt this season. Renamed as the ‘cold shoulder trend’ for 2016, its pretty much the same thing with a new name.
Free your shoulders with bardot tops, floral off-the-shoulder dresses and frills. Wear your cold shoulder frill top with a midi skirt and block heels for SS16.
White jeans
Bright whites and pale colours are always relevant in the warmer months. Pale tailoring is big news this season.
If you don’t want to invest in some new white boyfriend jeans (the jean shape of the moment), last years white skinny jeans will do nicely, so long as you managed to keep them grass-stain free – hats off if you did.
Cropped denim jackets
A denim jacket is always useful and can be worked into most looks. Wear your cropped denim jacket from last year with wide-legs for a 2016 update.
A light-wash denim jacket is perfect with cream or white wide-legged culottes, a floaty vest and wedge sandals for breezy summer days.
Denim shirt dresses
The denim shirt dress is a wardrobe staple and no one will be able to tell if it’s from last year, or even a few years back.
